DJI AGRAS T50: agricultural operation raised to maximum power

Recently launched by the Chinese technology giant, the new spraying and dispersing drone stands out for its high efficiency and versatility

Designed and developed to assist humanity in a number of important sectors, drones, remotely piloted aircraft, have increasingly expanded the scope of their operations as innovative solutions over time.

Today, this type of equipment is seen as a great ally for farmers looking to optimize the cultivation process, maximize productivity and reduce operating costs.

DJI AGRAS T50: a new level in agriculture

Recently launched by Chinese technology giant DJI, the AGRAS T50 is a state-of-the-art device for farmers looking for extreme efficiency when spraying larger areas.

With its large spraying and spreading capacity, the AGRAS T50 can be operated by a single person, either fully automatically or manually, and can handle a wide range of crops by spraying 40 liters and spreading 50 kg.

Drone specialist Thamylon Dias believes in the potential of the new equipment: "The DJI AGRAS T50 has brought several evolutions in the matter of radar and software usability by correcting some points of the predecessor (T40), being a more efficient equipment in terms of technology"

"This is a great tool that rural producers can benefit from in broken areas, morraria, perennial crops such as bananas, coffee and cocoa, and regions where there is a lot of rain and more waterlogged soils, where there could be kneading using more traditional methods," adds Thamylon.adds Thamylon.

Even smarter radar

The main point of improvement for the DJI AGRAS T50 is the radar. This is because the equipment has two Active Phased Array radars (front and rear), thus enabling multi-directional obstacle detection.

In addition, the drone also has binocular vision sensors, which results in a more accurate reconstruction of the terrain of application and consequent improvement in the detection of objects and deviations.

DJI AGRAS T50 radar features improved functions

This important enhancement also helps performance on terrain that has some degree of slope.

"With regard to the DJI AGRAS T40 radars, there have been many advances. Before, it had an omnidirectional radar, a rear radar and a lower radar. Now the T50 has two omnidirectional radars, which are called multidirectional. One is positioned in the same position as the T40 and the other has replaced the lower and rear radar. With this, the drone literally scans 360 degrees vertically and horizontally"says Xmobots Training Analyst Gustavo D'Agostino.

Double the flow

The DJI AGRAS T50 comes with two atomizers that provide a flow rate of up to 16 liters per minute. This is uniform, effective and drip-free, as the drone has been enhanced with new solenoid valves to eliminate any leaks once and for all.

The AGRAS T50 can also be equipped with an additional pair of atomizers. In this way, the aircraft increases its flow rate to 24 liters per minute, making it ideal for operations where the application volume is high, such as spraying orchards.

A complete drone with complete control

The DJI AGRAS T50 has another important feature: the DJI RC Plus. This remote control has the ability to generate various high-resolution maps, as well as plan routes for automatic flights.

DJI RC Plus also allows the drone to take off and carry out all missions in the field in a completely automated way and at the touch of a button.

Control allows a complete, easy and intuitive experience

The remote control, with its seven-inch screen and high-brightness WideScreen display, has eight cores, thus guaranteeing the correct and precise operation of all the equipment.

The operator can also control the actions during each operation via the manual mode. Everything has been thought out and planned for the best user experience.

Stable signal even offline

Work in the field doesn't always have good Wi-Fi support. That's why the O3 quad-antenna transmission system is able to work even in situations where the internet signal isn't available.

With a transmission range of two kilometers and anti-interference capabilities, the stability of the signal guarantees efficiency for the drone to carry out its mission.

Fast battery charging

The DJI AGRAS T50 comes with DB1560 intelligent flight batteries. They charge via an air-cooled heatsink, which results in an extremely fast charge that takes an incredible nine minutes.

Another key point is that the C10000 smart charger can charge the batteries with power from the public grid. This is yet another facility to boost work in the field.

DJI as a benchmark

DJI is recognized around the world as a benchmark in technology. The Chinese manufacturer specializes in the sale of remotely piloted aircraft for various sectors, and has made a name for itself over the years in the agricultural sector. The company is seen as a guarantee for customers.

DJI drones are the benchmark in technology

"There are many good and reliable brands. DJI is undoubtedly one of the main ones, as it has a large share of the market. It's one of the companies that invests the most in the customer experience. It's a reliable brand"says Thamylon.

Before arriving on the market, the DJI AGRAS T50 underwent extensive tests to certify its reliability and durability, since this equipment is used with high and intense frequency in diverse scenarios to serve various agricultural crops.

Xmobots training: knowledge to overcome challenges

Buying a drone like the DJI AGRAS T50 is a sound investment. But as well as having the drone in hand, you need to know how to use the equipment correctly to achieve the best results.

That's why Xmobots, the absolute leader in the drone market in Latin America, the 6th largest company in the world in the segment and DJI's official representative in Brazil, offers complete and personalized training for each client.

"Our training is divided into two parts: the theoretical part, with the support of distance learning, and the practical part, carried out at Xmobots' headquarters (São Carlos-SP) or directly on the property, with the support of XPerts (professional instructors). Everything to meet the customer's real needs"says Gustavo.

DJI AGRAS T25: the drone for small areas

If the DJI AGRAS T50 appears to be a top option, the DJI AGRAS T25, also recently launched, is ideal for small and medium-sized areas, providing farmers with a 20-liter spray and 25kg dispersion.

In terms of technological evolution, the DJI AGRAS T25 keeps up with the new features of the T50 and is also an excellent option on the market.
