Xmobots announces the launch of the Nauru 100D UAS (Unmanned Aircraft System), a tactical drone designed to serve military forces in critical operations. The new model combines practicality and performance to strengthen border surveillance, the fight against organized crime and threat interception.

Highlight in the Defense sector

The launch of the Nauru 100D puts Brazil in a pioneering position in global defense and consolidates Xmobots as a reference in state-of-the-art drones.

"The current geopolitical context reinforces the relevance of drones in conflicts. With the Nauru 100D, we are presenting a line with a rapid response. This model marks a step forward in the company's internationalization"says Xmobots' Commercial Director, Thatiana Miloso.

Mobility and operational efficiency

The operational kit includes two backpacks to ensure mobility and ergonomics for the teams. In addition, Plug & Play technology allows the drone to be activated in less than three minutes, simply by attaching the wings, battery and SIS031A sensor or explosive charge.

Nauru 100D is transported in two tactical cases and can be mounted in any scenario

 Intelligent real-time monitoring

The Nauru 100D has an advanced image capture system using the SIS031A sensor:

  • Precise target tracking
  • Real-time analysis;
  • RGB and thermal infrared sensors for night missions;
  • Secure and integrated communication with ground teams.

With on-board Artificial Intelligence (AI), the SIS031A extends operational capabilities:

  • Reading license plates
  • Tracking vehicles and people;
  • Facial recognition;
  • Location for search and rescue

This combination provides a complete tactical view and corroborates strategic information in real time for combat, defense, rescue or surveillance actions.

Extended autonomy and control station

The Nauru 100D's operating kit includes three batteries, each with two hours of flight time, allowing for up to six hours of uninterrupted flight.

The second operating case functions as a charging station to ensure a continuous cycle of operations and eliminate prolonged breaks.

The command and control station is easily assembled to operate the Nauru 100D with two tablets

The drone's entire operational interface is controlled by two tablets that form a complete Command and Control Station, without the need for an additional structure.

Stealth and stealth technology

Built with anti-reflective materials, the Nauru 100D has a low thermal, sound and visual signature, making it virtually undetectable. In addition, eVTOL(Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) technology enables silent infiltrations for inspections, surveillance and attacks.

Main features of the Nauru 100D UAS (standard - surveillance)

  • Width: 2.1 meters;
  • Maximum weight: 9kg;
  • Service ceiling: 400 to 1000ft;
  • Operating range: 20 to 30km;
  • Cruising speed: 17m/s (33kt);
  • Flight time: 2 hours
  • Embedded intelligence: reconnaissance and target acquisition;
  • FPV camera: Real-time transmission;
  • Lighting system: For day and night flights;
  • Parachutes: deployment in emergencies.

Strategic concepts: UCAV and Swarm

Based on the Nauru 100D platform , Xmobots has been developing two conceptual proposals for advanced military applications: the UCAV models (Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle) and Swarm models. Both are currently being studied and represent a leap forward in operational capabilities.

Concept of armed versions of the Nauru 100D expand operational scope

The UCAV concept envisages a combat system that operates at high altitudes, radar evasion and millimeter-precision attacks. The proposal includes firing from a height of 60 meters, real-time trajectory correction and return to base for new missions. Among the payloads under study are high-explosive (HE) bombs and penetrating anti-tank (HEAT) bombs.

The Swarm concept explores the simultaneous launch of up to 30 aircraft from a 20ft container - three for reconnaissance and 27 for coordinated attack. With an expected range of between 120km and 340km, the proposal signals a new dynamic for the operational field, with a focus on target saturation and large-scale tactical response.

"The UCAV and Swarm technological concept with the Nauru 100D extends capabilities beyond ISTAR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance) missions"explains the founder and CEO of Xmobots, Giovani Amianti.

Xmbots Defense: a new milestone for the company

With almost two decades of innovation in Robotic Engineering, Xmbots is strengthening its presence in the Defense sector.

Company's new division officially presented at LAAD 2025 via international expansion

"The Nauru 100D inaugurates Xmobots Defense. After years of technological improvement, this model brings together essential features for security forces around the world"says Miloso.
