The National Science and Technology Week - SNCT - was established by Decree on June 9, 2004.
It is always held in October under the coordination of the MCTIC, through the General Coordination of Popularization and Dissemination of Science (CGPC/SEPED). It counts on the collaboration of state and municipal secretariats, development agencies, scientific and cultural spaces, teaching and research institutions, scientific societies, schools, government agencies, technology-based companies and civil society organizations.
The SNCT aims to bring science and technology closer to the population. It therefore promotes events that bring together hundreds of institutions to carry out scientific dissemination activities throughout the country.
The idea is to create a language that is accessible to the population. Thus, it uses innovative means that stimulate curiosity and motivate the population to discuss the social implications of science, in addition to deepening their knowledge on the subject. The official period of the 15th SNCT runs from October 15 to 21, 2018.
XMobots and INCRA

INCRA, the National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform, has Implementing Standard No. 02. It certifies and establishes parameters for the use of drones in the georeferencing of rural properties. For this purpose, they have two units of the Echar 20C HA and 1 unit of the Nauru 500B HA, manufactured by XMobots.
After tests and research, XMobots was chosen by INCRA, meeting all the technical requirements.
The pilot project aims to develop a doctrine for georeferencing rural properties using drone technology. In this way, new rules can be presented to the market in the near future.
