Practical and intuitive for you to plan in the field   or in the office

XPlanner is the mission planning software exclusive to be used with the XMobots aircrafts. The platform consists of a GIS in which the user specifies the type of mission, aircraft model, camera in use, type of operation and the area of interest. Based on this information, XPlanner does the necessary calculation and generates the flight plans of the drone to be used during missions. One of its great diferentials is the multipolygon function in which the pilot can fly over different areas during te same flight plan. Presenting a friendly and intuitive interface and pre-configured options to most of the applications, XPlanner was developed in order to have the user to create flight missions in the field or in the office, in a very easy and fast way.

multipoligono

Multipolygon. Fly over several polygons in the same flight plan.

radio

Radio analysis. Terrain inspection for the communication range analysis

Meteorological analysis. Making a downwind landing? XPlanner notifies you.

planodevoo

Flight plan oriented to the final product.

FAST AND SAFE MISSIONS IN ONLY 5 STEPS

Planning with XPlanner is fast and safe. Using the Assistant menu, the operator creates his missions following only 5 steps.

STEP 1: ORIENTED PLANNING TO THE FINAL PRODUCT – ONLY IN XPLANNER

FORESTRY: TREE COUNTING

LIVESTOCK: CATTLE – CATTLE COUNTING

TOPOGRAPHY: PLANIALTIMETRIC SURVEY

STEP 2: WHICH DRONE DO YOU OPERATE?

Each XMobots drone has its own autonomy, range and payload specifications. That´s why, when planning the flight, XPlanner demands the pilot to indicate which aircraft and version he is using in the operation, so that the mission is optimized according to the drone characteristics.

Qual Drone XMobots voc opera?

STEP 3: SELECTING THE CAMERA

Are you going to capture RGB or multispectral images? Using a simple or obliquous camera system? The answers to these questions involve different flight parameters, so the correct choice of the camera allows XPlanner to do the right calculation for each type of sensor.

STEP 4: VLOS, EVLOS OR BVLOS FLIGHT?

XMobots is the only Brazilian company authorized by ANAC to perform flights above 400ft. To use the aerial space requires responsability, always under ANAC and DECEA´s rules. That´s why the step 4 of the Assistant menu is to select the Type of Operation to be performed:

VLOS (Visual Line of Sight)

EVLOS (Extended Visual Line of Sight)

BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight)

Operao VLOS, EVLOS e BVLOS

Depending on the type of the operation selectedXPlanner creates an external buffer zone of visual range in the colors yellowred and blackfrom inside out:

zonas

Yellow  zone: activation of the geofence violation alert.

Red zone: the geofence violation alert makes the drone activates automatic recoveryreturning to landing.

Black zone: when the drone enters this areathe automatic recovery of the flight termination is activated through the parachute opening.

STEP 5:

The last step is the definition of the mapped area and of some mapping parameters.

At this momentthe operator designs the mapping polygon or uploads a .KML file, defines the angle (cardinal direction of lines), buffer, flight altitude and line intercalationif desired.

The pilot may also configurate the options of Terrain Data, selecting “Terrain-following” (always constant height from the ground), “Average Elevation” (system defines na average elevation of terrain referenceand “Manual Elevation.

After inserting the mapping area data, XPlanner creates automatically some obligatory waypoints, which are: Go Up, Take Off, Obstacle, Go Down, Landing.

INTELLIGENT VALIDATION

After creating the flight plan/ project, XPlanner offers an intelligent feature of mission validation before its upload to the drone. If there is any error in the flight plan, the user can repair it before flying. That´s realibility and security, features and qualities found in XMobots products.
