To analyze the health of a culture is fundamental in Precision Agriculture. In many cases, when the data collection is made in the adequate time, it´s possible to avoid losses. In many cases, the “adequate time” is practically before the disease gets visible. And that´s why the NIR and RedEdge bands are getting more widespread in the Precision Agriculture. The chart below shows us the stress of a plant that presents high reflectancy in these bands, allowing the detection of the disease in its initial stage.
RGB, NIR AND REDEDGE IN ONE SENSOR
XM5 camera, developed by XMobots, combines RGB, NIR and RedEdge bands, delivering a great variety of vegetation indices, including NDVI and NDRE.
BEST RESULTS REQUIRE ULTRA RESOLUTION
One of the greatest differentials of XM5 is the APS-C sensor, allowing the generation of multispectral images with a 4.7cm/pixel ultra resolution at 400ft AGL, while other brands´ similar sensors present an 8cm GSD in the same flight condition.
MULTISPECTRAL WITH ACCURACY
Another XM5´s great differential is its integration to the HAL and HAG embedded RTK technologies developed by XMobots. Multispectral mapping requires accuracy, especially in Precision Agriculture.
