The identification of planting failures allows XFarming Cotton to analyze the uniformity of crops, evaluate the germ rate of the seeds, and measure the loss estimate through classification.

Identification of pests and crop diseases

All crops are bound to be infested by pests and diaseases. In order to make an assertive decision, it’s necessary to monitor the crop and be fast to act! Therefore, we count on high-quality multispectral images generated by XMA camera!

The balance between the vegetative and reproductive growth is one of the best strategies to maximize the production by each plant. Growth regulator spraying application at variable rate allows better uniformity of the crop, lower competition for sun rays and a cleaner harvest.

To detect planting failures, to generate growth regulators and defoliant spraying maps, and others are actions that require a precise and accurate vision of the planted area. To get such results, the first step is to get crop´s images. Although it´s very common to use satellite imaging – 3 meters GSD – to cotton crops, the aerial digital survey using drones allows a significant better detailing (3 to 5 centimeters per pixel).
