Next year, the National Rural Apprenticeship Service of Mato Grosso (SENAR-MT) will be offering new training courses for professionals who will be working with drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The practical classes, which will be held with the most modern equipment on the Brazilian market, are guaranteed thanks to a partnership with XMobots, a Brazilian company specializing in the development and manufacture of remotely piloted aircraft. "We're going to provide two Arator 5B machines to be used in the practical classes," says XMobots representative Tathiana Miloso. She adds that the company is authorized by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) to fly above 120 meters.
Founded in 2007 by engineers, master's and doctoral students from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, XMobots aims to master the technological chain of development and manufacture of unmanned systems. Tathiana also points out that this partnership is fundamental to defining the future of the sector and making it increasingly professional. "It's a new area and we need trained operators. SENAR is a renowned institution when it comes to training and the sector needs to invest in professionalization. So in this partnership, everyone wins".
She also says that the company is based in the aeronautical hub of São Carlos (SP) and is recognized as one of Brazil's main centers of technological innovation. "Our infrastructure consists of a factory, a quality control department, an engineering laboratory and a team of qualified professionals. Our investment in research and development is continuous and we are sure that this partnership will bear excellent fruit."
Training
In the last two years, SENAR-MT has trained around 300 people to work in the drone sector. Over the next four months, four more training courses on operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs/Drones) are planned.
