The drone mapping sector is a professional industry that generates jobs and income for thousands of families. It should therefore be taken with the seriousness it deserves. Illegal operations have become a danger to this sector.
In a webinar broadcast on September 24 by the DroneShow team, Lieutenant Colonel Jorge Vargas Rainho spoke about DECEA's role in irregular drone operations and the work carried out to maintain the safety of Brazilian airspace.
At the end of the recording, he appeals to technology users who operate drones without following DECEA and ANAC regulations, pointing out that illegal operations jeopardize not only the safety of people and aircraft, but also an entire sector that relies on drones for its livelihood.
The Arator 5B 2VLOS is currently the only drone in Brazil authorized to fly above 400 ft, in accordance with current legislation. To find out more about the product, click here.
