OMNI AIR TAXI starts operations with ARATOR HA

XMobots has just delivered another Arator HA drone. Omni Táxi Aéreo, a company based in Rio de Janeiro, has embarked on the field of unmanned aircraft with the creation of the Omni Drone Division. This new division of the company was created with the use of drones in mind to support clients who need highly precise and accurate aerial mapping for various applications. That's why the model chosen has HA (High Accuracy) technology. This guarantees an accuracy of just a few centimeters without the need to collect control points.

Omni initially selected the Arator after comparing several domestic and foreign RPA models. We ended up choosing the Arator because it is a complete solution in terms of functionality, range, scanning capacity and autonomy," explained Marcello Coura. Thus, Omni decided on the equipment to be an entry-level aircraft in the field of drone operation for commercial purposes. The type of operation we intend to do is basically to start in the agricultural area. Then we gain experience in the operation and move on to other segments, continues Coura. This implies making long-distance flights, mainly for aerial images of transmission lines and oil pipelines.

Founded in 2000, Omni mainly serves clients in the oil sector, such as Petrobras, in several Brazilian states. With this new core business with drones, the company intends to expand into other segments.

The model of equipment purchased by Omni is the only one in Brazil authorized by ANAC to fly above 400 feet. The legality of operations in accordance with RBAC-E-94 was one of the main factors Omni evaluated when acquiring the equipment.
