This week the Echar 20C and Arator 5B drones, manufactured by xmobots®, are taking part in a battery of tests in Chile, in areas ranging from the capital Santiago to the Atacama Desert.
The tests were carried out in partnership with Linkapsis, XMobots' distributor in the Andean country. The main objective of the tests is to check the attitude of the equipment at altitudes above 3,000 meters ASL and temperatures below 5°C.
The tests are part of the company's expansion project in Latin America. The results will validate the use of the equipment in regions with extreme climates and terrain. Linkapsis already has an Arator series drone. In just over three months, the drone has already made more than 60 flights in the country.
