The 2024/2025 Harvest Plan has already begun! The aim of this framework is to organize and plan production, marketing and compliance with public policies related to agribusiness. In other words, it is a financial resource for the Brazilian rural producer to follow the cycle in a complete, healthy and integral way.

The country's agricultural sector receives a large amount of funding from the federal government to help producers with credit lines, whether it's to cover the cost of production or to buy new technologies. But more than that, this program is aimed at the survival of agriculture.
"Our GDP and our Brazil is agro. This investment is a way for the government to guarantee agricultural production. It's a two-way street: the producer benefits from these resources at more affordable prices, while the government guarantees that the sector is being covered and will deliver production," explains Embrapa Instrumentation researcher Lucio Jorge.
Faced with a scenario of uncertainty caused by climate change, the government's resource becomes an extra security for farmers.
"In general, small and medium-sized producers depend a lot on this resource. Many of them live off this funding from year to year in order to manage their crops. If they don't have this funding, there will be a shortfall, since many of them won't be able to maintain production," the researcher points out.
Values of the Safra Plan 2024/2025
The Federal Government has announced the amount of R$400.59 billion made available for the 2024/2025 Crop Plan, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA). This amount is earmarked for credit in corporate agriculture (funding, marketing and investments).
Of the total amount, R$293.29 billion will be earmarked for costing and marketing, while R$107.30 billion will be available for investments.

Relying on this kind of support is quite a benefit. Although the aid makes life easier for the producer, it is important to know how to invest in new technologies that guarantee process optimization, increase productivity and improve the profitability of the business.
And with so many options available on the market, how do you choose the best spraying equipment?
Spraying drones: efficiency that generates results
In addition to financing to cover expenses such as labor (construction and renovation) and the purchase of inputs (fertilizers, pesticides and seeds, for example), rural producers can invest in vehicles and heavy machinery such as tractors and sprayers.

But when it comes to precision agriculture, one technology that has been gaining ground in agribusiness is the spraying drone, which presents itself as an extremely cost-effective innovation because it adds a series of cost-benefits.
"In the area of application, drones have established themselves as a practical and efficient tool for aerial spraying, with good proven results in various types of crop, avoiding losses due to crushing, saving inputs, water and diesel, among many other benefits," says Xmobots' commercial director, Thatiana Miloso.
In addition to its own products and services, Xmobots stands out in the market as the official DJI Agriculture Dealer in Brazil. With this, the company offers the AGRAS line of drones from the Chinese technology giant. And there's no shortage of options: AGRAS T20P, AGRAS T25, AGRAS T40 and AGRAS T50.

Xmobots and financial institutions: partnership to facilitate access to credit
To help farmers access credit to finance new equipment, Xmobots has partnered with some private financial institutions that offer credit lines with more attractive interest rates and payment terms.
The Pronaf (National Program to Strengthen Family Farming) and Moderagro (Program to Modernize Agriculture and Conserve Natural Resources) programs under the Safra Plan, for example, cater for customers interested in purchasing drones.
"You can access the Safra Plan byapplying for rural credit at participating banks. To apply for credit, you need to meet some basic requirements, such as: being a rural producer, being registered in the National Agriculture Register (CNA) and presenting supporting documentation," explains Thatiana.
In addition to spraying drones, there are credit lines that cater for products developed in Brazil, such as the Aerial Spraying System with Drones (SPAD 75) from Xmobots.

This is a complete system with everything the drone pilot needs to work with spraying in a professional manner. It includes: XMixer, XRTK base, satellite internet, PPE kit and much more. In this way, the producer or service provider can acquire all the equipment with easy payment from a single company.
"The fact that we are a company that develops products with national technology also favors the accreditation of products in BNDES lines, such as the Finame (Machinery and Equipment Financing). In this sense, the great news is that we have just accredited the SPAD 75, in its 3 versions, to the Finame line, which will make it much easier for customers looking for very low interest rates with long payment terms to acquire it," Thatiana points out.
