The Navy's Aeronautics Directorate (DAerM), with the support of the Maritime Operations and Protection of the Blue Amazon Command (COMPAAz), the Oceanic Patrol Ship (NPaOc) "Amazonas", the Aeronaval Force Command and subordinate military organizations, conducted a demonstration of the Nauru 500C Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (SARP) from April 11 to 13 at the São Pedro Aldeão Naval Air Base and on the NPaOc "Amazonas", at the São Pedro da Aldeia Naval Air Base and on the NPaOc "Amazonas", the demonstration of the
Nauru 500C Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (SARP), from the Brazilian company XMobots, with the aim of verifying the SARP's capabilities and characteristics for land and ship operations.

Nauru 500C performs vertical take-off on P-120
The Nauru 500C is an ANAC-certified vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) ARP, which eliminates the need for launch and recovery equipment and is capable of carrying out intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations. Developed for BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) operations above 400ft, the Nauru 500C has a
nominal autonomy of 4 hours, a range of up to 60 km, a length of 1.86 m, a wingspan of 3.64 m, and a maximum take-off weight of 25 kg. The ARP can be configured with stabilized electro-optical (EO) and thermal infrared (LWIR) cameras.
The demonstration carried out by the company XMobots contributes to the establishment of requirements for future acquisitions under the SARP-E Procurement Program, provided for in the Navy's Strategic Portfolio, and for the development of Strategic Products by the Defense Industrial Base (BID).
